The Elatria

-After a boring, but unknown amount of time you feel the ship hit turbulence meaning you are landing somewhere with an atmosphere.-

(Sorry, it didn't say it was updated so I was waiting for a response D:)

Rovan: -Walks into the cockpit- Where have we landed?

Man: Beyr, now get out of the cockpit! I specifically said, stay out!

Rovan: I won't be led blind.. -Turns and leaves, going to gather his things-

Irvan: So we have arrived then?

Man: Yes. - He steps down from the cockpit and walks over the cargo bay doors and presses a button on it's side. The door opens after three short beeps and a slight hissing sound.-

-You step out of the ship, to a dusty and busy docking platform.- -the Platform protrudes from a large metal structure- -You can see the planet surfaces hundreds of feet below you. It is nothing but a large orange desert.- -There are several other small, outdated ships docked, and you see several large cannons attached above you on the larger structure, but no guards or ground protective forces of any kind.-

-A man runs up asking for something in a strong accent. The most you can make out is something about a docking fee.-

Rovan: -Grabs Irvan's arm and leads him away from the other two men- Can you contact your "friends" from here?

Irvan: Perhaps, I'd have to see what they have communications wise. But typically even the outer rim planets would have something suitable.

Rovan: Good. Get him his payment and then we will see where to go from there.

-He walks back over to the men and waits for their conversation to be over-

-The man pulls out a pistol and shoots the ground at the feet of the hustler-

-Hold out hand for the payment from Irvan without looking at him-

Irvan: You will have your payment once I contact my superiors. I will ensure they bring the money. They will be here quickly enough once I contact them. I need to find a decent communications system though.

Man: You can use the communications in my ship, that way you don't go running off.

Irvan: You have long range communication on your ship? Could have said that earlier. I would have had them meet us here.-He turns back to the ship and walks inside, looking for the communications-

Man: -follows and shows you the communications device-

Irvan:-Uses the device to send out a signal to any imperial ships in the quadrant, identifying himself and his position. As well as identifying the specifics for the pick up, which include the man's engine part.- We wait now. We should get a response within the day.

Rovan: I will scout around the space port. See what's around. -Looks at Irvan- I'll meet you back here in a few hours.

-He begins to walk away, but stops-

Rovan: Oh. And.. -holds out his hand towards the Man- ..I did say I would want that back. -Pointing out the pirate stun stick the Man confiscated for the trip-

Irvan: Very well. I will stay by the communications receiver in case they respond quickly

-They respond-

-The man hands Rovan the stun-stick-

Rovan: -Takes the weapon and secures it on his belt. He proceeds to walk into the port and take a look around-

-The station is a large cylindrical spire, rapped in numerous docks and ports. The ship is docked at one of the uppermost tiers. It is a 20-30 foot wide walkway that wraps the entire circumference of the station. The inner walkway is lined with shops and other inlets into the station itself. The sky is a musky brownish red, and the air itself is dusty. Far below you is a fairly flat terrain broken with mesas and gorges. Not much plant life is visible. There is a group of people huddled around a view screen on the side of the station.-

Rovan: -Grumbles to himself. He walks along the shops and examines what is being sold-

-A wide assortment of rather low-budget things are being sold. Clothes to weapons to food to ship parts.- -You are immediately targeted by hagglers.-

Rovan: -Quickly denies all offers and returns to the ship-

Rovan: What's the news?

Man: Several border colonies came under attack over the last 72 hours. Wide spread destruction and apparently inconclusive reports on who the attackers were. Appears that's what happened to your lovely home, and that is why I came to salvage it, until I learned there was nothing to salvage. If you mean about the engine part, no, I haven't heard anything yet.
